Tanzania Balloon Safaris Itinerary

Pre-dawn transfer to the balloon staging site. After a pre-flight briefing by the pilot, the crew inflates the balloon and at sunrise, the flight begins. Lasting about 50 minutes, the balloon silently glides over the wildlife, sometimes at tree-top level and sometimes higher up to better see the entire ecosystem. Upon landing, in the tradition of balloonists through the centuries, a champagne breakfast is served - in the heart of the bush! After breakfast, there is a transfer to rejoin the safari group.

Central Serengeti;
- Daily departures from Seronera area including Serengeti Serena Lodge, Serengeti Sopa Lodge, Mbuzi Mawe Camp and Seronera Wildlife Lodge as well as a number of central Serengeti campsites.

Western Serengeti;
- There are balloon flights departing in Western Serengeti from Kirawira Camp, Grumeti River Camp and Mbalageti Serengeti.

Grumeti Reserves;
- Guests staying at the Grumeti Reserves properties can arrange a private charter of a balloon for an amazing flight over the reserve. Please note that this is a charter of the entire balloon and not sold on a per seat basis.
